Are you an avid mountain biker and amateur videographer? Do you like to interview other riders or shoot riding footage? Is there a mountain biking event in your area that you’d like to cover for TrailTapes. Unleash your inner journalist and let us see the trails in your neck of the woods. Send us your mountain bike video and be a correspondent for TrailTapes, Mountain Bike TV.
- Edit your story to no more than 6 minutes, or contribute raw footage that we can edit.
- Clips should be full screen video (720×480) in QuickTime (.mov) format.
- Include a written description (email, .txt file, printed page, etc.) with as much information as possible about your movie so that we can give you the credit you deserve. Info like: who are the riders?, what is the music?, names and titles of any people you interview.
- Your video becomes the property of TrailTapes. Of course you will receive credit and our undying gratitude.
- Video tapes, CD’s, DVD’s and other physical media will not be returned.
- Makes sure YOU HAVE PERMISSION to use any copyrighted music. We love to promote garage and independent bands/musicians. It’s best to just avoid the #1 hits. If you need some good, podcast safe music, I recommend PodSafeAudio.com.
Send your QuickTime (.mov) clips on CD or DVD, or raw video on miniDV tape to:
Chris Kelley
KMK Media Group
1111 S. Alpine Rd.
Suite 300
Rockford, IL 61108
Or you can FTP the QuickTime (.mov) file. Please contact us for FTP instructions.
Please contact TrailTapes if you have any questions.

Pingback by Crank Zone » Be a TrailTapes Correspondent 03.23.07 @ 8:15 amHi, I live in El Salvador (Central America) and have been doing MBike since more that 10 years. Some years ago I bought a Helmet cam and have done some videos filmed and edited by my self, that you can find on my YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/eroshardt
We are a group called “Mara Cabra” which means The Goat Gang. We received this nick name because we are a group of mountainbikers who love difficult trails with much technical demand.
Have fun and sen me your comments.
