While some people dread the gloom of the winter months, people in the know look forward to Ray’s Indoor Mountain Bike Park. Located in Cleveland, Ohio, Ray’s MTB has become a premium mountain biking destination during the fall and winter months.

Inside the park, riders can relax in either the SRAM themed lounge or the newly decorated RockShox lounge. Hang by the fireplace and watch Kranked Progression, play foosball, air hockey, or just relax and take it all in. And check out the SRAM cam on Ray’s site.

TrailTapes visited Ray’s back in January. We’ll be back there this weekend to cover the season Grand Opening. We’ll have interviews with the pro riders and others there to celebrate.

The 82,000 square foot facility has grown and several new features have been added. There’s a new Gary Fisher XC loop that finds riders pedaling up above the rafters! Gary Fisher himself will be there Friday night to cut the ribbon on the new track. Also, Hans Rey will be around with his friend Ralph Naef of Switzerland. And from the world of street and jumping, Jeff Lenosky (see TrailTapes Episode 3 for our interview with Jeff Lenosky) will be bringing an RV full of friends including Aaron Chase, Kyle Ebbett, Adam Hauck and video producer Don Hampton, the guy who makes all the Chain Reaction videos. And of course, we’ll talk again with Ray.

Good stuff to get us through the winter on upcoming episodes of TrailTapes, Mountain Bike TV.
