Precedent Threatens Backcountry Singletrack

National forests in Montana and northern Idaho are proposing to ban bicycles from more than 700 miles of backcountry singletrack that mountain bikers have ridden for more than 20 years. But act now. The deadline for comments is today at 11:59pm MDT.

IMBA LogoThe International Mountain Bicycling Association is mobilizing the mountain biking community to take action. Tell the Forest Service that bicycles should not be categorically banned from Recommended Wilderness. I did. IMBA provides a customizable online form you can use, but today is the deadline.
